With consumers gravitating towards healthier meals and leaner proteins, the lack of a seafood brand in the Gordon Food Service portfolio represented a shortcoming and provided a prominent opportunity for growth.
Even so, GFS knew they were late to the game and had their work cut out for them in launching a brand that could compete with better established seafood lines.
The solution was to build a brand that offered what none of the competition could: clarity on sourcing, processing, freshness, and sustainability.
