The Story of Metal. What struck us immediately about Proos was how different they felt from any other manufacturing company. The Proos business model bends all of manufacturing’s assumed rules with a culture that defies norms. So when it came to creating a website and corporate toolkit, we wanted to shape the brand and user experience to match people’s impressions of the company. That meant UX needed to feel effortless, design sharp, copy forthright and photography honest–all to create assets with the Proos “edge” people have come to love.

When a company lasts a century, it means they’re doing something really right.
Proos had already proven they know how to run a business. They approached Next to bring clarity to their communication and to better connect with target customers and recruits. We were happy to oblige.
“We listen to what you want. But we build you what you need.”
Sometimes, a company keeps their name and grows their family.
The final hurdle we helped Proos cross was that of announcing a change in ownership, assisting owner Amy Proos in imagining a way to hand over responsibility to CEO Bryan Howard while also reassuring customers and employees that Proos was all about family, and always would be.
It was fun to work with a manufacturing company who understands the value of branding and storytelling. Proos trusted us to take the lead creatively and strategically which led to effective and authentic content. They continue to experience growth and we continue to look for ways to help.
